Bio After a Bachelor and a Masters in Architecture in Rome, Francesca’s interest in new technologies and a European scholarship brought her to Bristol to study a MSc in BIM in Design Construction and Operation.
She is passionate about architecture and how it can affect people’s lives. Particularly, she is keen on understanding how technologies can affect architecture and the construction sector in general.
Francesca has worked for Italian and UK companies in the past as a BIM architectural assistant. She is currently supporting Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects as a BIM Support technician. She supports her colleagues in the use of BIM software; together with project teams, she draws bespoke projects BIM strategies. She also writes and update BIM documents and standard for various projects and look at the coordination between consultants and project teams running clash detection and coordination meetings.
