HR expert Elizabeth Kavanagh talks about how BIM is for the people

Elizabeth Kavanagh is Head of HR and Research for the leading architecture practice, Stride Treglown, and will be taking to the BIM Show Live stage on Day 1, Wednesday 27 February at 16:30 to deliver her People Stream Seminar entitled ‘People and Change-Collaboration and change, it’s all about Behaviours’.
In her own words, Elizabeth guarantees this seminar will most certainly be thought provoking, yet completely relatable, as she discusses collaboration from a people perspective.
This is what else Elizabeth had to say about why you should attend her seminar:
If you are wondering how to move towards a collaborative culture in your organisation or project team, if you want to adopt collaborative practices or learn more about what collaborative behaviours are then this is the talk for you.
In this interactive session, I will explain (in words that Winnie the Pooh could understand) why behaviours are a key part of the change process, how behaviours enable collaboration, and outline the ten key collaborative behaviours.
This talk will help you to answer the question: when we say Collaboration is all about behaviours, what does that actually mean?”
I will showcase the free-to-use behavioural tool devised by Behaviours4Collaboration, and you will have a chance to reflect on how you could develop your own behaviours.
This discussion will cover definitions of forms of relationships, the relations wrappers around those relationships such as insurances and contracts and the behaviours which enable collaboration alongside the international standard for collaboration ISO44001.
Run in a workshop format, this seminar will ask you key questions about what collaboration is and explore various perspectives on working collaboratively.
